I want to use exodus for keeping a big amount of BTC and other coins. I like this wallet and I think it is rather user friendly. Is it realy safe to use exodus? I am asking because I saw a lot of posts here in reddit and also on youtube and on other forums when people lost their money using exodus wallet. Anybody can tell me that he used exodus for a long time and lost his money?

So i opened up Exodus yesterday to see that my ETH Wallet had been completely emptied by someone other than myself. I don't know how they got access to it but all my ETH is gone. I did a Malware scan with MalwareBytes and a scan with MS Defender and neither came up with anything that would have indicated that my PC was compromised. You can’t withdraw directly from Exodus to you bank account. You need to send whatever your withdrawing to an exchange like Coinbase or Binance etc. first, then withdraw from there. Please correct me if I am wrong. Exodus is my favorite wallet, I stake my Cardano ADA there.

Exodus won't open, I tried rebooting a few times to no avail. Windows 10. When I click to open Exodus it is shown as open on the taskbar, I can Alt Tab and see it there, but when I select it through Alt Tab or click on the program through the taskbar it doesn't open. Tried closing it and opening it again. Anyone experience this?

What's key to your Wallet and your funds is your 12 word secret recovery phrase, which should be stored securely offline. However, you can still protect your Exodus Wallet with a password, so your Wallet simply locks when you close it.

I'm still fairly new to crypto. I use Exodus for my wallet and love it, also have accounts with Coinbase and Binance. Have transfered back and forth a couple times just to learn the mechanics. Just wondering if this is the main only way to cash out anything from my wallet? Transfer from Exodus to Coinbase and then to my bank account. Or is there other more recommended ways?

Exodus Wallet isnt secure anymore , I lost my polkadot and Cardano funds. Note that I never used my Exodus wallet for any transactions, it was more like my personal secret wallet.

Same coin as well. I’ve reached out to exodus before and was just told to not interact with it, nor give my seed phrase to anybody (something I would never do) but seeing these makes me uneasy. Question is when i see fit to move my crypto or sell, with the dust still being in the wallet does that make me vulnerable to any kind of attacks?
