I've just sincerely given up, I just don't do anything to try to make my situation better, I've listened and read walls upon walls of advice for the kind of shit I go through but I just don't do anything, I stand there and watched.

As the title suggests, I want to know what happens once you've given up in life? For the longest time, I've wanted to give up, but I've always had some hope that things will be alright.

Give up and restart when you feel comfortable. I am one of those people who say to never give up, but I understand that it can be stressful so I always suggest working at your own pace.

Learn about yourself and your own issues. I give you a secret: we all have issues, traumas, and problems. You have to be consistent and never give up. It will be a slow recovery. But it's worth it. In a year from now, you'll probably look back and smile. Don't waste your time and start. Baby steps. One thing at the time.

I don't think you understand the idea of just giving up and going through the motions. This is what you do when you don't have anything to motivate you.

Please don't give up, if you have persistence you will get better. Its normal to have sad times at one point or another, and I think college early adulthood can be hard for some people.

I had a boss in an old job give me harsh, unwarranted criticism, and it seemed useless to reply to him and defend myself. Then a week later he asked us for new ideas to solve a problem, and it seemed useless to reply and suggest ideas.

All of the hard work I put in towards my career and life, set me up for a sense of disillusionment when things didn't turn out the way I was promised. I've made some progress since but still have a long, long way to go.

If you never give up and literally look forever for each rabbit you chase, you'll starve to death. But if you give up immediately every time you face difficulty, you'll also starve.

I can't take it anymore. I've tried my best to have fun in life and to socialise but I still feel empty inside as if there's this giant hole in my heart that's eating me up inside.
