What is the most effective, non refrigerated, Amino Acid supplement you have used specifically for nursing damaged coral tissue (e.g., frag healing recession) while also supporting vibrant growth and color? Looking for the best budget per dose option.
If N is low AA might be helpful, but even then I would rather just dose Nitrates, better uptake, better control, fewer secondary blooms. I found AA did trigger cyano in my system, this was way back like 10 years ago , but the products are still the same.

Tropic Marin® Amino Organic contains amino acids and other organic nitrogen compounds that stimulate the growth of soft and leather corals, as well as disc anemones and zoanthids. This results in greater absorption, by the anthozoans, of the phosphate available from the water, biologically reducing phosphate concentrations.
On top of this, zooxanthellae can also absorb amino acids as a source of nitrogen, which can be used to create biomolecules which get transferred to the coral and used for growth.
Amino acids aren't the most ideal nitrogen source for this purpose. They come with some carbon atoms and maybe other things attached which seem to favor the presence of cyanobacteria at least as much as they favor coral health.
Hey @Badger_Reefer! For your coral selection I think adding amino acids could definitely be beneficial. The softies will appreciate the dissolved organics and your goniopora in particular is known to respond well to amino supplementation. As for which aminos Brightwell's Aminomarine and Polyp Lab's Reef Roids are good go tos.

If you don’t have many fish, adding excess food without consumption will increase the carbon and organic waste input.
