On or before June 1, the Tax Collector must conduct a Tax Certificate Sale of the unpaid taxes on each parcel of property. The sale is operated on a competitive bid basis with interest bids beginning at 18% and progressing downward.
Most businesses in Orange County are required to pay a Business Tax. The Business Tax is imposed by the Orange County Board of County missioners (BCC) to engage in or manage any business, profession, or occupation within Orange County, including its municipalities.
Customers may visit any of our six Orange County locations to renew or replace their driver’s license or ID, and some customers may renew or replace them online.
